10.2 Guardians of the Dream is centered around the Emerald Dream and Druids.
Yet, Druids besides the new forms are the most neglected.
** DRUID RACE OPTIMIZATION PROBLEM **
Blizzard, it is time to add a Shadowmeld baseline to Druids that share cooldown with Shadowmeld from Nelfs similar to the human trinket and regular trinket interaction.
Nelf is hands down the best druid. Druid without Shadowmeld feels extremely clunky. Please address this for once in your life since the dawn of changing Shadowmeld in WOTLK.
This will finally incentivize more druid races to be playable without mid-maxing especially more so since you are adding more druid race combinations in the future.
1.) Class Tree / Base Tree is not well done at all. Either all the restoration talents or all the bear talents in that tree need to be the baseline.
Squishing 4 specs into one class and not having a high baseline amount of abilities is not fair.
I’m tired of having to choose in Mythic + especially Tyrannical that I have to decide between living through a boss mechanic or adding 10k yes I MEAN 10k DPS to my rotation.
Or get one shot by the boss.
2.) Mana? Restoration Druids for the last three expansions Battle For Azeroth, Shadowlands, and Dragonflight.
Have significantly been hindered by too high mana costs that feel unenjoyable.
There is absolutely no reason for the bread and butter of a druid Rejuvenation to cost 5,500 mana per cast.
Wildgrowth costing 10,000 mana means I can only cast it 27.5 times in a fight before it completely OOMs me.
Innervate nerfed by 2 seconds in this patch.
Swiftmend has the audacity to cost 4,000 mana.
I’m literally sick of having to drink after every pull. Stack 500 mana potions in my bag. Pray for a mana-based trinket to drop. Begging for an early symbol of hopes and sham mana spring totem and other druid innervates or an evoker mana buff.
Our mana refund talent Master Shapeshifter is a total joke. For how many healing globals we need to ramp it is actually pathetic that this is what was introduced whilst no ramp classes like Hpally, Hpriest, or Rsham press 1 button (Manatide Totem, Hymn of Hope, Daybreak, Watershield) Boom infinite mana. Like, fix this ??
3.) Damage, whether it is mythic + or raid our damage notoriously sucks.
Catweaving is possible but difficult. Moonkin or caster form DPS is normally what everyone does but the DPS nearly reaches only 10k - 15k and 20-35k towards the end of the season.
But it doesn’t change how awful it is. Like Jesus. Make efflorescence burn 3-5 enemy targets.
Make Sunfire / Moonfire hit targets in an AoE by 15 yards baseline already and nerf the cost for rdruid.
Make druid fun and easy to do DPS like the other classes.
4.) Raid Utility,

Innervate make it affect 1 additional target and increase spell casting haste of a healer or something.

Make Tranquility make everyone take 10% reduced dmg during the channel or something.

Make Lifebloom grant the affected target some baseline increased movement speed while it is on or something.
JUST SOMETHING LOL. I hate that if there are two RDRUIDS they are just so quick to make one of them switch just because of how they don’t offer anything to the raid.
5.) Tranquility,
Why can’t I move anymore in the channel like Legion? You do realize how many floor mechanics you have RNG going out and you legit make rdruids sit still for a 5-second channel heal that ramps.
The talents of Innerpeace and Dreamstate should just be combined as one with the addition of us being able to MOVE DURING THE CHANNEL. Also, make this 60 yards like the ability to flourish.
6.) Druid Ramp and Flourish.
You killed restoration druid this patch. We druids notoriously love the druid class for HoTing everyone up then giving out a big fat flourish and repeating.
We felt rewarded. We feel like the blanket healer.
Now it is dead. Convoke Flourish is RNG and every 3 convokes only lasts 2 seconds and increases the healing rate by 25%.
- Flourish is Dead. 6 seconds duration. 25% healing rate increase?
Like I press it and nothing happens, no ramp reward and microscopic HPS increase.

Luxuriant Soil never proc anymore thanks to the Nerf.

Spring Blossoms doesn’t heal for anything. You would think the talent would remove the mana cost of efflorescence or increase its duration. But no. Just heals for nothing.
Like why did you do this? We went from a Ramp blanket healer to idk even what to call this.
7.) Power of the Archdruid, Photosynthesis, and Verdancy
- The power of the Archdruid should be 100%. Not 40%. Why? That like making Undergrowth (double life bloom talent) only a 40% chance to proc double life bloom.
As well as why isn’t wild growth instant cast. Jesus. total downgrade whoever’s big brain idea to add a cast time to a notoriously instant cast spell.

Photosynthesis should just be the baseline in life bloom at this point.

Verdancy is a total joke that it is the go-to RAID talent.
8.) Clunky Rotation: Adaptive Swarm, Cenarion Ward, Treants, Invigorate, Swiftmend.
- Treants are nice but awkward as heck. They were just invented to give immediate healing to Rdruid since they ramp. So no one instant dies in PvP or Mythic + but they are god awful to use outside of that and add yet another button to the rotation.
It is also starting to give me FFXIV Scholar vibes. At this point give us some emerald dream-like pet 24/7 to follow around and toss a wildgrowth and single target heal 24/7 whilst we ramp.

Adaptive Swarm not having an unbridled swarm baseline is cringe. I bet every druid wishes an adaptive swarm will emerge with a swift mend cast with a 50% chance of it being a 3 charge swarm that jumps around and a 100% chance it will give 1 charge to the swiftmended target. Why? To stop Bloat.

Swiftmend consuming a HoT in 2023 is cringe. Make a verdant infusion baseline. We only have one SWIFTMEND every 15 seconds so make our button count.

Cenarion Ward, yet another HoT I don’t want to press.

Invigorate not apply rejuvenation and Lifebloom is omega-clunky. The fact it makes it disappear faster as the effect persists also sucks. Adds even more globals.
When it should just apply rejuvenation and lifebloom and the INVIGORATION EFFECT be a separate aura that ticks down that does not hinder the duration of the Hot’d target and that way we don’t have to play super weird with flourish if we take it or swiftmend to ensure we don’t lose mana for using this spell.
9.) Duration of HoTs.
Move Rejuvenation to 21 seconds from 18 seconds.
Move Lifebloom to 21 seconds from 14 seconds.

10.) PvP Talents.

Keeper of the Grove tooltip protects me from all harm but not the DoTs on me. Change that during the channel. Do as the tooltip states I’m protected from all harm. NO DOT DMG should be hurting me. LOL.

Disentanglement mana cost be further decreased to 80% as well as the radius increased by 150%. That would make someone take it. Not what you have here.

Deep Roots should be the baseline for all druids that learn mass entanglement in the base tree.

Entangling Bark should apply to Barkskin as well.

Thorns, add an additional effect. When a target is affected by ironbark or bark skin the thorns are applied to that defensive for the duration.

Focused Growth, instead of an instant bloom spam for no reason make the spell ramp? Like every 2 seconds, it increases healing received by life bloom by 8/16/24 %. Like why do we gotta spam it? Like why is this so annoying?

Reactive Resin, Instead of the silence and root and slow can we get something we really want? Like every heal dispelled a living seed hops on the target dispelled healing the target for 10-30% of the dispelled HoT either instantly or over 3 seconds.
Throw in as well a 50% MANA REFUND for the HoT dispelled.
Amazing that purge spells cost 4,000 or less mana and my rejuvenation cost 5,500. Legit losing the game over reapplication.
Don’t forget to add insult to injury that evoker can just mass purge 4 HoTs and be immune to reactive resin by pre-emptively putting obsidian scales on before firebreathing.
Real fair.
Let us do some perspective: I place HoTs on my 2 dps …
Rejuvenation 2 targets 5,500 mana each spell costs a total of 4 casts to apply germination for an amount of 22,000 mana.
Lifebloom 2 targets 4,000 mana each spell costs a total of 2 casts for an amount of 8,000 mana.
Cenarion Ward 1 target for a total of 4,600 mana.
Total net lost: 30,600 which is about 11% of my mana and legit 7-8 seconds of casting globals.
Firebreath is a dps spell that costs no mana and has a low CD. Lower than my overgrowth I might add. It is wonderfully terrible.
That weird question have for Devs.
1.) Why can Incarnation Tree Form be affected by bleeds and poisons whilst in tree form? You are Tree. These effects shouldn’t be removed upon going into tree form. But they shouldn’t harm the player character whilst in tree form.
A tree cannot bleed. Unless you count sap. But okay besides that fact.
Poison really? You can’t poison a tree I legit cure that on a daily basis. People come to me for my leaves man to cure that stuff.

Why isn’t Incarnation reflected on the new owlkin forms. Looks godawful to go from looking really cool. To really terrible for 30 seconds. Might as well just change the incarnation animation as a whole.

Since we are becoming a pet healing class basically. Can you actually make it a baseline pet? Spirit-looking animal creature from Ardenweald or the emerald dream? With lots of little customization from the Soulshape forms.
