I have 380 Waycrest Music Box(380), Moonstone of Zin-Anshari(385) and Fangs of Intertwined Essence (385).
My issue is Mastery sucks, but I get +15 intellect if I use it. The Waycrest Music Box proc isn’t that great, however Mr Robot is insisting it’s better.
What should I be using?
There’s a google spreadsheet for resto shamans that’s very useful. It has a tab where you can input your trinkets with their ilvls and it’ll rank them from best to worst. It also has azerite on there (with the ability to compare two pieces of azerite and figure out which is better). One of the best tools we have! Don’t use Mr. Robot, that’s for simming DPS and won’t be accurate for healing.
The site is called Ancestral Guidance, and if you look at the Guides tab, the spreadsheet is the first link.
I put those into mine to look at it for you, and the Moonstone is way better than the other two. It’s Moonstone (1219 HPS gain) > Music Box (944 HPS gain) > Fangs (811 HPS gain).

Why hasnt someone turned this spreadsheet into an app or website like the dps ones??
I think maybe the Resto Shaman Analyzer is based off the spreadsheet?

One other question is. Is this for raids only or will it do M+ logs as well?
The largest flaw is that the BASE spreadsheet only does hps. Some trinkets are just better because of the mana return in certain environments.
Don’t just assume that the fangs are useless because of hps. Mana return is extremely important during prog raiding.
Although it is true that some trinkets are just undertuned … don’t discount many of the other effects because a bot program only measures hps.
If you ever get low on mana in a raid fight, slap that mana trinket on. Doing a m+ ? Mana trinkets are less useful since you get to drink so slap those other trinkets on.
Adaptation is the key to success, what works for me may not work for you. Find what you are comfortable with and work with it.
After checking this thread, I started to pay attention to my meters with the Waycrest Legacy. Just a heads up. The set bonus isn’t worth holding on to, not even for a slight upgrade in either trinket or ring slot.
Overall on Champions of the Light Heroic, 5.3m healing done. 62k was from the set bonus.
