Resto Shaman High tide

Hello there,

First of all, love the damage buffs, feels great to weave damage in which is substantial, love that playstyle very much.

I feel like this talent needs to operate better. Having the buffed chain heal gated by 100k mana then lasting only 25 seconds is kinda rough. A lot of damage patterns in m+ come out in waves where damage is heavy, then its not. So you pump out those 2 chain heals then you weave in a bunch of damage and prepare for the next onslaught to come, but your damage spends no mana, nor does riptide really the thing u would be potentially spreading for pwave. The little adds that pop in temple who do astronomical damage and they are super frequent is a great example where it would be amazing if you could even hold on 2 1 of those chain heals possibly (so you have 1 CH for each time they are summoned).

Maybe this talent is balanced around it not being available that frequently but honestly i think a bit better player control would go along way to deal with massive aoe burst damage, especially outside of cds.

I think maybe making it have a 30 second (give or take) cooldown with 2 charges. You could still cast chain heal outside of that time but it wouldn’t be with high tide until that cd came back up. Maybe that would be confusing having this proc CD that works on a spell w/ no cooldown, but honestly if high tide worked this way, it would be absolutely incredible in my opinion.

Maybe this is too strong, if so make the cooldown longer, but having the ability to manage it would go a very long way.

Yeah I’d love for them to rework high tide into a healing version of stormkeeper.

You don’t get them for free. They still cost mana, it’s the extra healing you get out of those chains that make it worth taking. They get buffed by 10 % and don’t lose effect on jump. It just sucks watching them go to waste when you have no reason to use the charges because of the buff window.

O, i thought they were free, that’s even worse than i remember them (swore it was free at one time but maybe i was wrong). my bad, but ya that means its worse than i thought

Agree that would be rad if Stormkeeper applied to Chain Heal. Make Nature’s Swiftness reduce the cast time of the next 3 nature spells by 50% too instead of current function.
