Hello,
Long time healer main, short time resto shaman player. I haven’t really touched resto until recently. was wanting to get some tips/tricks and wisdom for the spec and class. lots of wow-head guides, Icey-veins and YouTube, and yet I still feel like i am not focusing on the right spells. I do well, but I could do better…any suggestions on spell priority, mana efficiency, ETC?
Do you raid, m+, PvP, etc.? That would change a lot of answers you could be given.
There is like…1 wowhead and 1 icy veins guide. For PVE they are both good to use.
2500+ M+ exp and 9/9 Heroic raider this season. almost got to 1700 in pvp but have given up since then. So i do a bit of everything.
Same. I cant give you a play by play rotation, but if you copy my talent tree you’ll have the all around one most resto shamans use. I swap for Acid Rain depending on group comp. Everything else is situational dungeon to dungeon and affixes. Like, for instance, on a high FH key on Fort week, the very first pull with all the adds, I already know im throwing down healing rain and spirit link. Chain heal is really good right now. AG is a lil diff than what it was but still very viable. I find that Spirit Link, AG, Mana Tide Totem, and Ascendence are 4 amazing tools that will help you in any “oh crap” situation.
Spirit Walkers Tidal Totem is not that common anymore. And generally people dont use Earthliving weapon or DRE.
I also havent cast chain heal in like a month. Raid or m+. People still do talent for it though.
But I am not sure I’d say thats a tree most use. But it wouldnt necessarily hold you back in heroic/sub 20 keys.
