How does one take these guys down? Seems near impossible… with gear and skill they can hold of as many as 5 other average players off for a crazy amount of time with their infinite snare removal, low kick vulnerability, and mobility paired with HoTs… It feels pointless to even to try to take them down unless you’ve got some seriously insane control + burst or the ability to outlast their mana pool.
Am I missing something here or are you just screwed if your enemy has a good resto druid around?
You aren’t the most mobile of the melee classes, so you’ll struggle with rdruid a bit. But if you’re on them, they are probably spending a lot of time in bear form…meaning they’re only healing themselves. You’re not going to solo a mediocre or greater healer, but if the rdruid isn’t healing his team his team is dying and the rdruid’s time will come soon enough. I honestly don’t play enough ret to speak beyond that little bit

We solve the issue by mal as well. Super useful against resilient healing types. Hit your mal trinket on him (if you have one that is, I haven’t gazed at armory) and take him down.

Assuming this is an earnest question, the answer is stuns. Druids have no answer to stuns except for Barkskin (incoming damage reduction on a 1 minute CD). If 5 opposing players really are beating on the Druid, then they need to coordinate their stuns to keep it from doing anything. Once the DR sets in, have interrupts ready. Druids have more instant-cast heals than most, but at some point they’ll need to cast Regrowth. Interrupt it. Three different classes can also remove HOT’s. So while that does depend on circumstance, it’s helpful when available.

its not enough to simply use maledict, it needs to be timed right. i see tons of people running it now and i stopped counting the number of bads who open with it.

Uhh…no, you def cannot open with it. I’m surprised you’re seeing that many open with a mal. That makes very little sense.
i would say its the majority of the time. i’ve got a weakaura that alerts me when i have the debuff so i don’t waste healing and more often than not it goes off when im at 100% health.
i love how its everyone’s favorite trinket in bgs all of a sudden, mine sits in my bags collecting dust.
Purge is the strongest thing against rdruids. If you have more than one person on them they can’t leave bear form. So purge any hots of and they will die. Save stuns for the second they swap out of bear to heal.
They’re tougher to kill than a lot of healers but still 2-3 dps should have an easy time killing them.

Issue I see mostly is people too afraid of RDruids to even bother trying.
(And tunnel vision on the DPS tearing up the field.
It would just be nice to see someone with a Backbone in BGs

Thanks for the tips guys, unfortunately doesn’t seem like much I can change on my own… mostly depends on teammates.
Typically in random BGs I spend any time where I’m not throwing hammers at would-be flag cappers following enemy heals around doing everything I can to make life hard for them. Unfortunately that’s rarely enough.
Be the guy with the clutch HoJ that does the rdruid in! You can almost guarantee (especially in randoms) others around you will blow their CC as quick as it comes off cooldown (if they even use it) so work on timing that just right and you’ll be the last name the druid sees before Bwonsamdi is laughing at them in a GY

Just came out a a WG. The horde team had 29 druids out of 40 players. What gives? Please buff enhance shammies since I haven’t seen one of them in the last 50 games on either side.
