I’m a returning WoW player and i’m wondering what the general consensus is for healing when it comes to restoration druid VS restoration shaman? Both for end game PvE and PvP?
These happen to be the two healers I played in both SL and DF.
In my opinion, Resto Shaman is both easier and more fun to play. Better group healing, and heals that feel more impactful. Druid just feels like you are always playing catch-up and trying to keep enough spinning plates in the air.
For PvE, I’ve heard resto druid is up on the charts for HPS. Next in line to holy priest.
But shammy healer is on the charts too. Just not as high.
Rdruid requires a little more setup and fight knowledge to get the most out of your healing kit. Rsham is a much more reactive healer, which generally makes it easier for new players to pick up.
Too early to pick a meta healer for TWW, but it’s likely that both will be fine for most content.
One throws leaves at you and other throws water
Who da hell thought you guys to heal ??
I find resto shaman to be the most straightforward and simplest healer. That also means I find it to be the most boring. Resto druid is my least favourite healer. I’ve really struggled dealing with burst healing and having to rely on my treants. I gave up on it this expansion.
