Resto druid Trinkets

is there a reliable place that ranks trinkets for resto druids? I dont raid and most of the druids that do mythics at my level use the raid trinkets

Questionably epic has a trinket compare tool for healers. Can find the link through dream groves discord or wowhead i believe. The raid trinkets are generally recommended but it’ll have a list comparing all the trinkets so you can see what’s best from your available content.

Whether a certain trinket is “good” or “bad” depends on many more variables compared to other pieces of gear. This is especially true for “Use” trinkets. All “Use” trinkets will suck unless you actually use them! The better that you can make use of them, the better they will get.

The easiest trinkets to “rank” are trinkets that are basically pure stat sticks. They have nothing but “Equip” effects and require no action on the part of the person wearing them.

But then how do you insert “Use” trinkets into that ranking mix? The only real answer is that you can’t. Many sites attempt to do so anyway, because clicks generate ad revenue. That’s why one site will list a certain trinket as an “S-Tier” or “A-Tier” trinket and another site will list that same trinket as a “C-Tier” Trinket. There is often more opinion involved than science, or the author is simply basing their conclusions on their personal experiences.

You have to consider your spec, your playstyle, and the content that you will be doing. You have to consider what stat it gives, and if you are able to make effective use of that stat. Int, Haste, Crit, and Vers are all relatively straight-forward and will pretty much always give you a mostly-predictable power increase. Mastery can be anywhere from amazing to terrible depending on your play style. For example, if your play style involves coating the entire raid with a single rejuvenation then Mastery will be a horrible stat for you. If you are doing a Mythic+ and have 5+ HoTs on people most of the time, then Mastery will beat any other stat by a huge margin.

You can make more effective use of “Use” trinkets by using something like a Weak Aura to help remind you when they are off-cooldown, or simply macro them to one of your other abilities.
