Resto druid still bugged, why ugh

Wild growth doesn’t enable swiftmend as it should when your treant casts it for you. It just glows showing it’s ready to be pressed and doesn’t work.

only rejuv or regrowth hot enables wg

always been that way

incorrect, single casting wildgrowth enables swift mend as well.
It suddenly choses not to work when treant casts it for you though, after wasting a talent for it. A clear sign it’s bugged.
I know wildgrowth enables swiftmend because I use it often when I don’t know which group member is going to take burst damage, and I put it as a safety net for all as I add heals.

(Tip: if you read the spell for help, it literally says wild growth enables swift mend.)

Which spell are you talking about exactly?

Grove Guardians says “Summons a Treant which will immediately cast Swiftmend on your current target…”

Wild Synthesis says “Treants from Grove Guardians also cast Wild Growth immediately when summoned…”

Soul of the Forest increases Wild Growth’s healing. Embrace of the Dream allows Wild Growth to instantly heal those affected by Rejuv or Regrowth. Power of the Archdruid has a chance for Wild Growth to cause next Rejuv or Regrowth to apply to 2 addition allies.

I’m not seeing anywhere that claims “Wild Growth enables Switfmend.”

Swfitmend’s tooltip. Swiftmend’s spell description:

Swiftmend

Talent

10% of base mana 40 yd range

Instant 15 sec recharge

1 Charges

Requires Druid

Consumes a Regrowth, Wild Growth, or Rejuvenation effect to instantly heal an ally for (345% of Spell power).

I too have experienced what the OP is referring to. The button will light up as ready, which may be myself being confused as to the CD being up, or whether or not the spell can be cast. I don’t main a druid, I heal as an off-spec on an alt, so I surely do not know the class as well as Warlock, but I have seen odd things like what the OP has expressed.

It could be that the tooltip itself just needs to specify that Regrowth, Wild Growth or Rejuv needs to be cast from the druid themselves if that’s intended, otherwise, it does sound like a bug, if the wild growth being cast by the Wild Synthesis treants does not count towards switftmend’s activation criterion, or again, it could be tooltip vagueness.

Thank you @Crideon. Read his post Sendryn for an important explanation of what Swiftmend does if still confused.

Swiftmend explicitly refers to spells that enable it’s usage, and treant casts that very spell for you when summoned, yet doesn’t interact with the healing as it should.

I hate that resto druid is still bugged in an expansion you’d at least think emphasizes druid/forms/abilities/mogs etc.

But you’re not the one casting the Wild Growth. A treant is.

Again, read his post if confused. Because he points out the obvious.

Wild growth is a specific ability with specific usage. If the treant doesn’t cast the spell it’s described as being able to cast for you, then it does not in fact cast Wild Growth, it casts a variation, and needs to be put in parenthesis, like Germination. Until it is distinguished from the wild growth spell, it still DOES in fact stand as a bug, because it fails to enable the same mechanics wild growth does, and doesn’t call itself anything other than the spell Swiftmend says it is enabled by.

I don’t know why you’re getting all condescending here.

Here’s what you said:

Thus, I said:

Meaning if it’s not your cast of Wild Growth, your Swiftmend doesn’t get triggered for us. You need to cast it. You can’t use Swiftmend off of someone else’s cast.

It doesn’t need to be. If your aren’t casting it, you don’t get to use another spell off of it.

I just knew you were going to respond with another predictability for the person you’ve already shown yourself to be here, because my NEXT question is to ask you whats the reasoning for the treant casting wild growth not triggering “Embrace of the Dream” if it is in fact wild growth at all. It should say your minion (treant) healed an ally with Embrace of the dream, like a shaman’s totem or hunters pet in a damage log can be credited for healing or doing damage to the recipeint.
So clearly not only does it fail to cast Wild Growth, a spell with specific mechanics, it also fails to even register as a Wild Growth on multiple accounts. The horse is beyond dead with you so i’ll let that final display of your personality neigh for itself.

What even is this? I’m giving you information on how the treants work. Are you okay? :face_with_raised_eyebrow:

Why would Embrace of the Dream trigger at all? It’s a treant cast. It’s not YOUR cast.

If YOU aren’t casting the spells, YOUR talents aren’t going to trigger.

Have you lost your mind? Someone gives you information and you act all crazy and try to toss out weird insults?

Sorry you don’t like how the game works. Try to have a better day. You’re not worth the time if you’re going to act all disrespectful for zero reason.
