Respec in classic

Imma suppose that was meant for me. I’m unsure if the trainers outside the main city can respec you character, as I have never tried it, because there’s no reason to ask the trainer in GS or Northshire to do so.

I can state that I did infact, on stress test, at level 12, see if I could respec my character at the Paladin trainer in Stormwind and he would, for the 1st time cost of 1g.

Guild tanks had it the best/worst depending on the guild. Some guilds would pay for their respecs between raids so they can actually enjoy pvp the rest of the week.

I’d say it was more paying for their respec so they could tank the raid.

In BC, my guildies covered my flight training / mount cost so I could tank the heroic Netherstorm dungeons. That kind of generosity will earn you a tank for life.

Take your time and level both. Utilize the rested bonus XP to save time leveling two chars at once.

Wish I could say the same. I plan to play arms warrior PvP. But my guild will need me to tank PvE content in the endgame. So I will reach 50g pretty fast.

Well… guild bank was made to pay tank’s respecs after all… hah

I think you may be thinking of dual spec which was added well after classic. I think it was available at lvl30. Respecs in vanilla started at 1g, then 5g, and 5g more thereafter with a cap at 50g.

Ah thank you. I figured I probably wasn’t remembering it properly. It’s been awhile.
