Respawns in sm library

So since when does the whole dungeon respawn not even after 30 mins? Definitely not right, vanilla wasn’t some m+ speed run

Mobs would always respawn before you got to the end of an instance in vanilla…

which ones? never respawned in rfc, wc, sfk, bfd, nor rfk before now

Maybe are you making use of layering exploits?

Trash definitely respawns in some of those dungeons you mentioned…

maybe eventually, but definitely not 30mins. Not even 2 hours dude

its a bug or something. Same thing happened to my group in sm arm. We would kill the boss and then on our way out all the mobs would spawn on top of us.

They respawned every time regardless of how fast we cleared it. Pretty dumb.

Pats respawn very fast, in like 20 mins. I don’t remember if this is blizzlike.

I once had library do a complete respawn in less than 45 minutes. That seemed very off.

We got respawns in WC near the entrance about an hour later. The tank insisted on running back to entrance twice to rebuff from the npc, longest run ever…

Respawn timers aren’t nerfed in classic. SM always respawned really fast. And you shouldn’t be able to make it back before respawns unless you are a fast group. Just unequip your durability items and make a run for it, if you die it’s like a 30 second run, not a big deal.

I agree with both you and @Brother. Ib SM Lib and SM Arm, we have to keep the pace unless we don’t kill anyone in the run. But even then we have to hearth out or fight our way out . Respawns seem to start at about 30 minutes I think.

Prior to that, RFK respawns seemed to be maybe as long as 2 hours. I tested a bit trying to do Blueleaf Tubers solo after a wrap and the group did not want to do the escort or the tubers. I had to slowly clear most of the ravine - I was lvl 35 just helping a group (my avatar says 30, I was 38 when I did SM Arm). Anyway by the time I cleared most of the ravine, I died - pulled 3 elites and failed to hamstring back fast enough - upper halls respawned about then.

It is part of vanilla though, I think?

I just expect to fight my way out (more XP for me )

Always have to deal with pats, often general respawns.

just another form of grinding to me.

One of the SM zones has a patrol of two mobs that spawn near the entrance after you kill the last boss. I can’t remember if it’s library or armory though.

that is exactly how it was in vanilla

I only remember patrols spawning within 30 minutes, the rest would be atleast 2 hours. Maybe its a bug or maybe is dengeon specific.

I destinctly remember 4+ hour BRD runs and never having issues with the entire dungeon respawning.

Not sure if it impacts instance respawns, but respawns in general are a bit broke right now. I remember dying several times in the Gold Coast Quarry mine because the mob I killed was indefinitely respawning before I could even loot his predecessor’s corpse.

This happened to me in VC. After killing VC we died, but were unable to loot his corpse. The guy who ran us through the instance left the group then and all the mobs at the entrance reappeared as if the instance reset.
