Respawn time on quest mobs is intentionally slow

I’ve been waiting ten minutes for mobs to respawn to complete this quest.
Gotta get those logged in metric up, 'ey boys?

There’s a quest near the end where you have to pick flowers. The flowers aren’t shared and despawn when someone else grabs one. I feel like certain bottlenecks should be addressed as it’s not fun right now waiting on respawns.

Unless they hot fix it there’s isn’t much point. But I guess the zone could get crowded again this weekend if people pop on.

But yeah the quest chain was a giant slow slog. Slow spawns, invisible mobs to find, non shared quest items.

If anything I hope blizzard looks at future quests in the chain and identifies any bottlenecks before it goes live. Currently it was a pain but as you said, it’ll get easier as more people finish it. Especially since you can skip it on alts.

They intentionally planned it.
They want bottlenecks to lengthen log in metrics.

I admire the bravery it takes to double down on room temperature IQ takes in a public forum.

You think they don’t know better after twenty years?
Most of which have had quick-respawning quest objectives that can be shared?

This isn’t one single quest in Karesh.

They did a pretty bad job at intentionally bottlenecking us.

Most of the quests had the mobs on a hyperspeed respawn.

Right lol. Even at peak hours in the evening there were only two quests that I actually had to wait around for: the bugs on the eco-dome and picking the flowers in the oasis. Everything else was respawning within 5 seconds of another mob dying.

20 years of creating quests, and Blizzard still makes massive design fails like this.

It’s unbelievable and ruined several moments of the campaign last night when I was literally just flying back and forth for 10 minutes waiting for respawns.

I think this one and there was one about activating guardians or something.

The guardian one acted weird though, because it gave me credit for like, everyone that was there clicking at once. So the singular one might give me 2/5. or 3/5.

Would someone really do that, Arnold?
Just go on the internet and tell lies?
