In The Flash, Reverse Flash manipulates his herald and the heroes regarding a dagger that will release him from imprisonment/impending death. His manipulations come to fruition in a twist to unleash him from his prison.

The Flash episodes came out a while ago. Reverse Flash is a way better villain than squid boy too and doesn’t copy anyone.
Could’ve at least thrown in a shout out nod to The Flash is all I’m sayin.
If you seriously think that plot is original, you’ve got another think coming, m’dear, you really do. There is nothing new under the sun.
Isn’t Flash Gordon that late night adult show of the superhero that flashes random people and runs away. Heh, that was a funny show.
I’m not saying it’s the first ever idea that’s literally existed entiretly, but the timing is fairly close together between the Flash and BFA cinematic maybe months apart and if you seen the episodes and the BFA cinematic it’s quite similar (not exactly the same but the way in which it was built up and the how it played out with the herald’s role and her realization moment and the heroes realizing too late and the big reveal twist and badass moment) . I immediately went back in my mind to Reverse Flash upon seeing it.
So we’re getting sloppy 3rds or 4ths?

Both also have humans in them!
