Gut this thing immediately, its actually insane what this thing does against comps that go for cc chains.
As you can see my spec can manipulate it on healers but requires entirely too much and there are not alot of specs with the tools to do it.
Caster cleaves having this a whole other level of disgusting.
Here is a game vs Arms/Affy/Hpala, literally one setup gets disrupted with pally sac. Lock has Resolve trinket and just comes out of stun with unkickable drain life to full, or the ret kicks off the trinket proc and I can’t stop the cast myself as I don’t have a ranged kick. Just existing with this trinket equipped gave that team the win condition of my disc’s mana bar…
That trinket is a 15sec immunity to cc/interrupt thats passive, and keep being applied.
So to get his trap he has to use his kick first which count as an interrupt even tho it doesnt kick anything to remove it. Then use his trap.
The downside is having cc last 20% longer. So it benefits classes that have spammable cc, and hurt classes that don’t.
Like add this immunity on top of the hpriest toolkit and its dumb.
Yep this trinket is prob the most disgusting trinket in the game. Needs to be removed flat out, extremely unhealthy for the game. Rmp is really gross but other set up comps shouldn’t be punished for how gross rmp is
This is what awful caster player’s will take out of it sure. It prolongs gos for no reason other then existing and allows awful players to have a mana bar win condition when they don’t disrupt a single go. Also, not every spec has the tools to deal with this.
This would make complaining about it unjustifiable probably, but as it stands currently its literally winning games by existing.
Not every spec/comp has the tools to deal with RMP / jungle winning in 3-5 goes. Welcome to WoW PvP where certain things counter others. The game has been like that for the majority of its existence.
You have setup comps and disruption comps. Everyone has tools to stop a setup, Holy/RMP is the outlier here, just requires more then putting a resolve trinket on.
what about comps that are designed to disrupt but end up played by people that want to get big fat +14s just for doing their pve rotation without ever accomplishing a disruption?
Most teams have tools to play around the new trinket, it just requires them to use a little more brain power than saying “1, 2, 3, go” then all pressing their instant CCs.
