Resolution Problem in Windowed Mode

So a few days ago my game started acting weird. Nothing changed when this happened, no drivers were updated, no hardware changed, it just started out of the blue. First, my default UI layout got messed up. I only have one main layout I use and for some reason when I logged in, I suddenly had a dozen different layouts that I had never made before. After deleting the other 11 and finally getting my UI back to a semi-usable state I started noticing that when I would load the game my resolution would default to 1920x1080 when it’s supposed to be 2560x1440. This had never happened to me before as I’d been 2560x1440 for several years now and suddenly it was acting different.

Now for some reason every time I open the game I need to set the resolution to 2560x1440 because its defaulting to 1920x1080. It’s not really a huge deal but it is kind of annoying. Is there any way I can force the game to default back to 2560x1440?

I would probably start with a complete reset of your UI. Additionally you might want to check out the Tech Support Forum.

Can you post a dxdiag. Also do you have multiple monitors

Not sure what dxdiag is. I only have a single monitor but play in Windowed mode.

Here is how.

DxDiag
1.Press Windows Key + R.
2.Type DxDiag and press Enter.
3.In the DxDiag window, click Save All Information.
4.Name the file “dxdiag” and click Save

is your setting windowed or Fullscreen (windowed)?

Just windowed (not full screen windowed).
