So once upon a time, the point for a win in Arathi basin was 2000 points. Since its conception back in the days of Ahn Qiraj, few changes have been implemented: quicker caps, collectible boosts, but probably the most notable was a reduction of points required to win.
The achievement: Resilient Victory is already pretty hard to achieve, even harder now as people are less likely to fight for a win now that players have a clear understanding of what a loss looks like, and how much more efficient it is to move on than it is to try to fight for a turnaround. Variables in a BG do not change unless people leave in large numbers generally.
But one of the harder things that happened is with a 25% reduction in point quota for a win, THE ACHIVEMENT STAYED THE SAME, 500 points.
The achievement, frankly, sucks. I have to AFK until the threshold passes and it costs others games. I’m actively attempting to achieve something but I’m effectively abusing other players in the meantime. Now, I know people still very rarely get this. I’ve been trying to accomplish this since AQ, but honestly, it should not have been made.
I recommend reducing it to 300, if not, at least 400.
