Personally I fill my vault with 12s (have 3 x 12 option in vault this week). And will continue to do so because I HATE, LOATHE and am DISGUSTED by stupid affixes like xalatath’s annoying bs of the week each week.

The “because he filled vault” is an assumption the OP made.
It’s a fair assumption. It would be a pretty big own goal to not take the vault slot for the sake of 5 more minutes.
An assumption is an assumption and is called circular reasoning. It’s common for groups to call it quits if keys higher than max rewards are not going to get timed. It was 5 minuites on the timer, but more than that to actually finish the run. There were clearly issues during the run and they stayed until they knew it wasn’t going to be timed. Would you rather they left when there was 20 minutes left on the timer? Then we would have the same thread with a slightly different QQ.
This happens all the time, right? I’m so jealous that you never lose your keystone. I haven’t even cleared a +12 yet.
It’s also common to finish them when there’s a single mob left to kill.
Depends on the run. Everyone has a different threshold for failure. The common default goal of a group beyond +10 is to time. After that is anyone’s game.
