I try to leave the dungeon to reset the instance, and whenever I enter back the mobs are still there and they’re all dead.
I’ve tried switching raid size and difficulty but that doesn’t seem to work.
Can you not reset raids? Are all raids time-gated to prevent people from repeatedly running them? Halp. : (
Raids have always been on a week long timer…

Well, 10 and 25 versions were on separate lockouts for a while.
You can respawn trash by switching between 10 and 25 players, for raids that have that option.
Not bosses, though.

Aye raids are on weekly lockouts. You can only run them once then they’ll reset automatically every Tuesday. Trash can be reset, but bosses can’t. And trash can only be reset if you haven’t killed the bosses already.
Most raids can only be done on one difficulty per week. So if you do 10 man, you can’t do 25 afterwards. Except for Siege of Orgrimmar and raids onwards in WoD/Legion. Those you can do every difficulty separately per week.

should be able to do them once on each difficulty per week
You can clear the trash as much as you want.Kill a boss and you wait till next week.
You kill up to the next boss after the trash you want to kill repeatedly, but don’t kill him. Run out and reset. Some don’t consistently reset, but after a while the trash for that room will reset anyway.
I used to do a lot of that.
9 month necro??? for something that was answered???

And you bumped it too, just like I just did. Except I didn’t act like a baby.

Is this still the case? It’s crazy to me that BC raids can still only be done once a week
Yes, this is still, unfortunately, in effect. Legacy Raid lockouts are bad enough, but worse when you can’t clear multiple size (10 and 25 man) or difficulties.
Depends on the raid.
Wrath raids for some reason share lock outs
anything before wod has a weekly lockout timer.
seperate lockouts weren’t introduced till siege of orgrimaar i think.
