Reset honor levels and give fos for those who earned them.
But now seeing players with 500+ honor lvl is absurd. It would take years of playing 24/7 and winning every BG to get something from scratch to even 200 honor lvl…not to mention anything above.
It started with the start of BFA when people were getting absurd amount of honor lvls from legion “prestige” honor system for no reason. It should started from scratch for all.
Reset honor levels or increase honor gain for those who want to catch up.

I pvp maybe 1 BG every few weeks in panda and a few months at the start of BFA hit Honor 40 so I’m thinking anyone who pvps with any sense of seriousness could easily hit 500+ without any trouble

There’s been a few ways to exploit honor over the years. The levels don’t matter at all, they’re irrelevant.

You do realize there are rewards that come with those Honor levels, yes? So you’re effectively asking to screw over people working towards their rewards. See below:

I disagree with this purely because 95% of the rewards available (even to this day years after the new honor system was brought in) are all rewards people have already earned from prestige.
Consider this: I was maxed prestige on one character, and halfway through on another character. When the new conversion happened, I was still re-earning rewards I had earned from Legion, and that feels absolutely terrible.
What we need is more ways to get honor. The system is fine. It’s the way with which we acquire honor which is problematic. There’s so few ways of actually getting honor that chipping away at the honor system feels bad. I’m honor level 342. At the beginning of BFA, I was like 230 something, or 240 something. I PvP every season, hit 2k+ every season, and have hit duelist repeatedly, and even 2400 throughout this expansion. And I’ve still not earned a single new reward from honor.
That’s a huge issue. Honor should be upped, and we should have more ways of acquiring it. Make BG’s actually worth the time sink. Develop more activities for PVP purely based on the idea of gaining honor rather than having people sit here with their thumbs up their rear. Bring in more cosmetic rewards to bridge the gap between current rewards. It doesn’t have to be anything big. It could be faction themed tabards, and toys. Something small. Something to make every 25 honor levels worth it.

man the honor system had the potential to be SUPER cool but they just wasted it
the mounts are okay but it feels extremely pointless otherwise
they could have added so many cool cosmetics and added so much value to bgs and world content

My dad put in a lot of work to get from honor level 15 to level 80 just since sl was announced this year. It can be done. Don’t take away that kind of work from people. He deserves he’s level 80

No, people earned them and I actually don’t know how you would change the system for the rewards to make them fair and enable the people who were earning the high level honor rewards to keep earning those rewards they have left and still allow those who didn’t get the lower ones to get them.
there is nothing to catch up to - you aren’t in competition with someone else collection of mounts, etc. Them having that high honor isn’t making them more powerful. Stop trying to compete when no competition exists.
Also, that must be a second account because you have FoS from 2017 on there but almost no other achievements - makes me wonder what happened to your main account.

did anyone read what i wrotte? IT WOULD TAKE YEARS OF WINNING EVERY SINGLE BG AND PLAYING EVERYDAY 24/7 TO REACH 200 HONOR LVL and above.
legion prestige systems should have ended with that expansion, while with BFA there should be all honor lvl from 0.
So, because of that, you want everyones honor level set back to zero?

bull. i was 73 after legion. i’m currently around 122, and i don’t even run bgs like i used to.
as far as the ones crying about doing arenas for ratings and titles, there’s a reason you’re not gaining- arena doesn’t give honor; it gives conquest.
I like my honor level 69, I spent a total of zero hours in BGs to earn it! I Legion WQ blasted the WPvP Towers that gave marks of honor on 10 characters.

Blizzard is just supposed to be like “SORRY GUYS - taking your honor levels lol”.
I’m about to get my 250,000th kill for Bloodthirsty and i’d be MAD as hell if they reset everything.
Besides, why do you even care? Having an honor level that high does absolutely anything for anyone. It’s just for show. What kind of perks does it honestly give you? Zero (oooo you get a mount - super game breaking and so unfair for you).

Point is , people gained honor much easier in legion, so they earned prestige. It should have ended as achievements but not passed into BFA with triple digit numbers for no reason. While in BFA honor gain is absolutely horrendous.

What kind of perks?
What do you get from it?
Is something being taken away from you when someone has a higher honor level than you?
POINT IS: Honor levels are literally just a number to show how many people you’ve killed. It matters for absolutely NOTHING else in this xpac and you asking for them to be reset is about as pointless as this thread.
