In a few months HC will no longer be HC. Players will be 60, sending their alts green/blue gear fully enchanted, 4 twelve slot bags, etc. Lvling will be so easy and the game economy will suck. So it would be cool to wipe servers once a year.

Make a new, but I sure as H… am not going to level on a HC server if we’re only given a year. I have other things to do than gaming - and it was one of the reasons I quit the Seasonal servers. I was never going to have any fun before they ended … that they ended up staying up for over a year is irrelevant, as we were promised a year from the get-go.

You could totally keep the economy alive. Just die in game.
Arnt low lvl mats and gear from AH going to be going for gold? No new low lvl toon can buy.

Ok reset every 2 years. That’s fine with me. If they’re going for a few silver we can.
No reset is fine for me - My oldest no-death toon I played in Retail is still alive after 11 years 
But as I have not played Retail for like the last 5 years, let’s make that at least 6 years to get me to a decent level - not even max. I have rolled lots of alts, and played lots of normal WoW at the side, and I plan to go on doing this. Ergo time-limited servers would totally ruin my fun.
I play HC - and WoW in general to have fun. Not to rush.
This is why I suggest new servers - maybe evcen seasonal HC ones - but keep the old ones, you’re not forced to play there.

No. If you want to reset your characters, just delete them. You can also play on seasonal servers, and these HC servers are not seasonal.
so they completed the challenge, then wanted to risk their character more for enchanting their alts? you cannot find a single enchant that doesn’t have a high risk attached to it. Every single HC private server/addon has loopholes to get around counting a death, or even submitting an appeal. you cant possibly believe people got thier pre raid bis, t1 t2 t3 without even dying? This is a Truly Hardcore server, you cant cheat death, and if you want to risk your character to gear up an alt, then go for it. its weird you wanna stop people from playing hardcore their own way.

I don’t think fully twinking out your low lvl toons is hc. People can play how they want. I’m just saying the server won’t be HC over time. It will just be a normal classic server.
Except if you die, your character is gone which makes it HC.
I think you underestimate the difficulty of a critical mass of people getting to 60, fully gearing out, etc. Even most of the best players in the world will die on the way. And if some do make it, then what’s wrong with using that experience, the fact that they made it through on the other side, to twink and gear out their alts to make another HC run? You aren’t forced to duel anyone, nor forced to play with people that do that.
I am pretty sure it will die out because people are frustrated and want to keep their toons at some point during their HC experience, maybe after dying a bunch of times or whatever, than people ruining the economy/“HC-ness” by gearing out twinks and farming mats.

i dont think you fully understand this. its not like an addon on a regular server where you can give your character 200g and go crazy with constant enchants/gear. do you understand what it takes to get a fiery enchant, life stealing, crusader, getting mats for enchants, leveling up an enchanter, farming mobs that have a VERY high risk of killing you with patterns that have low drop chances or are locked behind rep that requires you to farm deadly mobs that could easily kill you.
You cant “turn off HC” on a HC server, like what you can for the addon. you cant keep playing on the same server if you die. Your talking as if theres a chance to recover a toon thats dead. ive leveled 8 warriors to lvl 20-40 and they’ve all died well after i leveled up their Mining/BS? do i have to follow your arbitrary rules of what you think HardCore is When every single private server cheats their way out of a death by buying or doing an appeal that would almost always be granted?
Again, theres a VERY HIGH RISK of attempting to “Twink” out your alts, if they wanna risk their Gold/character/time for a very low reward then let them, stop trying to tell people how to play their game. if you wanna do the HC Ironman challenge then by all means, go for it, just dont sit there and dictate how people should play their game when you have 0 understanding of what your talking about.

No need for a wipe. Just add extra challenges like ssf, nudist, no talents used, white knight, solisist, etc etc. They could add titles for every 10 levels you get in various challenges. There are so many ways to keep things new and interesting and fresh.
I’m all about making a seasonal ladder server tho. They could add motifs.
I don’t think you know what hardcore means. Hardcore = is a permanent death of a character. Normal classic server = is not a permanent death of a character.
Why do you want to do this? If you had a fully geared character, you would be ok with losing all of your progression? I don’t think you would. I know I wouldn’t and the vast majority of other players wouldn’t either. Do you want to kill this game? because that would definitely kill this game.
