IF I were you, I would step back and be thankful that we have devs willing to do this instead of fall behind and let the game die due to them not fixing things.

Thanks for pre-ordering!

All the senior staff are gone after the breast milk and pub crawl fiasco. This is what happens when mobile gaming devs get reshuffled to a dying product. You gonna unsub from this? Didn’t think so.

Games lost over 10,000,000 players from its peak. Thats over 90% of customers gone and not returned.

You are arguing this isnt a dying or dead product?

Just gonna assume next week’s Tuesday will be the same. This new LFR every week is increasing maintenance downtime.

You realize ppl age out of this hobby and find other ones or similar hobbies? And that this was a niche hobby to begin with and that when it was the only realistic option everyone played it? Everquest was there… that was a different game entirely though and there was a lot of meta gameplay there that involved doing absolutely nothing for hours. So wow crushed it.

It doesn’t even mean the game is bad.

So your arguing that gaming as a hobby is dying and its not just this game?

Clueless.

It’s been over a decade since its peak, my man. If this is a dying product, then it’s Rasputin level dying.

If you have a product with the quality that WoW(and Blizzard as a whole) used to have you would not have a product that loses 90-95% of it’s userbase.

Accountability for the game/company direction and push has to be somewhere when it comes to the substancial loss.

Sure, revenue and earnings may be up BUT that is precisely the directon that they took that caused the loss of 95% of their playerbase…they chose short term direct money pushes instead of longterm quality of product and sustainability.

Unfortunately, this isn’t new. You’d think that after over a decade and a half that they would have learned how to perform maintenance, or at the very least how to estimate and allot the proper amount of time. As predictable as Blizzard’s inability to do this are the responses to any complaints on the issue. Invariably, you get these white knights crawling out of the woodwork. Be grateful. Give them a break. They do a great job. Horse pucky, I say. They’re being paid to administrate the game, and they are not, in fact, doing a great job.

That’s logical, if you view these things in an utter vacuum.

I’m sure someone, at some point, made the best typewriter in the world, too.

They probably found something that wasn’t right and wanted to address it today instead of having to pull the servers down again tomorrow. I know it is annoying but sometimes things are found at the last minute and it is best to fix them then instead of later.

i have tuesday’s off for reasons you know it’s just annoying thats all.

And that typewriter is still awesome to that guy who just loves typing up his manifestos on it. That is the way of life and the universe. )

I get why it is delayed, what I dont get is why they keep micro pushing it back by a hour when they must have a good idea as to when it will actually be done. Not to mention they only announce to us that it is being extended past the time they already extended it to… this is insane. Ever worse, I actually sit here and wait for it…

Name me one other company or business taht would allow a manager to lose 90% of its customers and that individual keeps their job.

Who knows the person with the golden key to the server rack got locked out and forgot their card in the car and locked his keys in there too and CS just got the call like an hr ago that it will be down some more so they just have been bumping it up and no one really knows why except the guy and his boss lol.
