So I finally was able to reserve the PlayStation 5 console at my local EB Games as more came in stock today for reservations.
Looking forward to getting it this November 12th as there is some amazing games I reserved with it that I’m looking forward to playing.
Two games I’m really looking forward to when they release are the new Harry Potter game and the new Ratchet and Clank game!
Paid a decent price for this along with the new Call of Duty game. Original price for this new gaming console for me was $778.18 CAD. But because I traded in my old PS4, I only had to pay $543.18 CAD for both the Call of Duty game and my new PS5.
Anyone else here planning on getting a PS5 this year?

Thats exactly what we are going to do we bought a ps4 they gave us a voucher for the ps5 so when we do the trade…it will be nice…
Ehh, not really. I mean Spiderman looks pretty cool, but i’m not gonna get a Ps5 for one game, especially since a good chunk of the Playstation games don’t really interest me anymore. (and other reasons why i won’t get a console) And even more especially since some of the Playstation exclusives are gonna be on PC or will be available on PC later on.
But regardless, have a happy and fun gaming with your PS5.

Was worried that Elder Scrolls VI was not going to be on ps5.
But it has been announced that it will go ahead with its announced
PS5 release. It is still years away. But looking forward to it.
Every time I’ve purchased a launch console I regretted it because there was never enough games.
I’ll probably wait for the “slim” or whatever 2nd generation redesign is. Then the hardware will be a little better/cheaper and also the games library will be larger.
Yea I plan on getting one just cause I have some money laying around since the new 3000 series from Nvidia are having issues.
Be the disc version as well as hopefully it’s not a jet engine like my PS4 pro is.
I thought EB got gobbled up by Gamestop.

Not this year but definitely later on - I still have PS4 games to keep me occupied. CPUs, GPUs, and consoles all coming out in the same time frame does make it hard to choose, though.
Yeah, i got my preorder in super early and EB Australia is offering $300 AUD trade in for PS4 Pro’s so i’ll wipe mine and take it into them soon. I can’t say that i’m especially excited for any new game in particular, i plan to play The Last of Us Part II and Red Dead 2 initially but i’ll also be smashing Cyberpunk 2077 on my PC, it’s a busy time for gaming!!
