I can’t take it anymore. 60% of the population is warriors with only 20% of them willing to tank. Put me in coach, dps doesn’t want to wait for threat? Makes my job easier, they’re the new offtank. Healers problem now.

Eff it, if warriors are too scared to tank I will gladly tank as a boomkin.
I mean we already are changing things, just give us a taunt and a few new single target/aoe spells.
Bonus of this is you get to rub salt in the wounds of pallies that boomies got a taunt before they did.

them being scared? maybe. them not wanting to deal with all the bs that comes with tanking? absolutely. but agreed thats why i tank as well. plus u can dictate the run speed and all that stuff. ur gonna have fun

dps warrior isnt even a thing while leveling if you are a warrior you are going to AT least be off tanking while leveling whether you want to or not. And if I’m a tank, I’m not sharing loot with a “dps warrior” while leveling. On the warrior’s I’ve made, I’ve always refused to group up with other warrior players and paladins for obvious reasons.

For my friends. I ain’t pugging, I get enough grief when we need to fill one spot and that dps decides to hard focus literally anything besides my target
If you can hold threat, you can tank leveling dungeons.

been seeing 4 warrior + 1 healer groups a lot lately. such OP blender groups don’t need a specific tank the just charge > mortal strike > whirlwind > execute groups down without issue…
It’s not so much that we’re lacking warrior tanks. It’s just that most groups only want Bear druid’s and Blood DK’s because of them being huge damage sponges.
I rolled this druid with the expectation that I might tank sometimes. I’m leveling feral for the first time ever, but I’ve found that tanks are in such high demand that I am tank 100% of the time. my healer set that I’ve been keeping up to date has never seen the light of day.
But also I’ve never had to wait for a group. ever
I’ll be honest the entire tone of this classic community is making me glad I decided to not play this time either. Listen to yourselves yall sound like the most entitled children ever. Too many warriors? Warrior OP? Don’t wanna share loot??? Make your own raid groups then. I imagine if you weren’t at BEST a mid pug your experience would be better. don’t complain about the meta and then without literally any hesitation conform to it immediately. Good greif.

Sweeping strikes whirlwind with the whirlwind axe begs to differ. Warriors tear up dungeons when the kit comes online
From my perspective, this appears to be the culture that was cultivated and catered to for SoD, coming to Classic. Which is unfortunate, because there isn’t an easy way to separate/mute that particular community like there is the SoD forums.
But yes, it’s quite noticeable since the Anniversary realms launched.

Sometimes i feel like im the crazy person for being willing to tank for randoms with no issue.
Then I realize im a Paladin on main and not as unhinged as people who roll w*rrior.
