Rerolling here, Ally or Horde?

Please fellas, sell me on your respective factions. I’ve heard both amazing and terrible things about both sides and I’m really struggling to pick one.
I don’t have a particular bias for any races but if you were to push me a lot I’d say I prefer NElf girls over the Orcs and Trolls :stuck_out_tongue:
Thanks

Three dwarf-themed guilds.

Multiple crusade-themed alliance guilds.

A dwarf warrior named Lafi who helped me quest in Searing Gorge and smite Hordies left and right. Awesome players in the world.

The Menethil Accord - an alliance of strong guilds hellbent on eradicating the horde from the face of Grobbulus.

A big guild RPing as scoundrels with a scumbag for a GM.

I could go on and on, but you get the gist.

Edit: Shoutout to your retail guild Mythically Mediocre and Over the Hills (raided with you guys in ED for a while).

I’m actually surprised I’m still in the guild since I quit BFA after Heroic G’Huun hahaha, maybe we crossed paths back then.
Ty for the heads up, I knew that Grobb was made of a lot of ED members, but Classic is a totally different beast because of class restrictions and stuff.

Go alliance, the horde are terrible here ez kills

Both factions have more or less mirror populations and guild makeups. Play whatever faction allows you to fulfill your class fantasy more.

On the other hand, the Alliance is better than the Horde in every way. So there is that as well.

Man, I don’t think you can go wrong either way. There are great groups of people on either side and the population is pretty balanced.

Except Shaman.

Horde side has been a blast so far. Alliance are not a big threat, my friends and I kill them constantly. K:D ratio is probably close to 50:1

thats not any fun.

I was gonna try and sell OP on Horde, but…Dwarf RP is the best thing Alliance ever had going, and you make a strong case.

Ally seems to be the more event/RP active faction but theres not a wrong answer. Grobbulus is the way Classic is meant to be played.

If you settle on Alliance, Steadfast would be glad to have you.

Seeing Org in it’s original glory with a leader that isn’t insane and zero elves is a lot more special than seeing the Alliance in basically a similar state to what they are now.

Horde because I guarantee you won’t find just colorful personalities on alliance side (no offense but y’all don’t have me so)

Mind you, it’s because I run around with a second arms warrior and a resto druid… we’re a walking arena comp practically. Other horde get killed by them.

Alliance races are basically sub-variants of humans. If you want to play the boring, safe faction - play Alliance.

Horde is an acquired taste. If you’re willing to step outside of your comfort zone and embrace the desolate, chaotic, and unforgiving nature of the Horde, you shall not be disappointed.

Be that kind of orc, roll Horde.

As someone has said, Grob is really a very good representation of what Classic WoW was meant to be. It has a bit of everything and the factions feel like their respective factions with the way the guilds and RP are filling out!

I say Alliance, but that’s just my bias. Whatever pure faction feel you enjoy the most will likely be the best bet for your choice in rolling.

The factions are balanced, according to to wowpop addon it is 50/50 before Blizz broke it.
There will be plenty of wpvp events.

Come play with Clan Hammersong little orc

Now now, we need Horde as well, I think you should value recruiting for your faction better then this. It would be lame if everything become overly unbalanced.
