Then on top of it, you can’t even combine them unless you have 250 Valorstones.

How? I used all my Valorstones twice in the last few weeks on two characters. They both are now back to max. Valorstones are not hard at all to get.

I have so many valor stones I’ve been dumping them on alts and still can’t keep up with the amount generated. They literally drop from everything you do.
you would be perma capped on stones if you ran m+ but… ah i wont go down that road with you

I’ve ran 90 dungeons this season and haven’t come close to capping I got to like 1600 but that’s it. Maybe ur doing something wrong lol
I guess it just isn’t enough that crafted gear costs less crests and valorstones than raising an item up to that level huh?
You spend a lot more than 250 valorstones upgrading a regular item. Think about that.

Thankfully Valorstones are warbound. I currently have almost 6000 across my account so I can snipe some from other characters who either dont need them atm or Im not really working on but who’ve collected them along the way.
Exactly. Tomorrow, I get my final crafted piece. Every other slot has to be a myth track tier piece.
Applying “punishment” to this is a huge stretch. Crafted gear is already extremely good.
Would I care if the cost was removed? No. But acting like it’s punishment … lol

Relatively easy to obtain and now warbound (at a cost). I dunno I felt this before but less now I can steal em from alts.
It costs 200 valorstones to upgrade a 2H weapon once and that’s with the discount for having a higher ilvl weapon. For a ring, it would cost 100 valor stones per upgrade before the discount, so looking at 500~700 valorstones to max out a ring.
A crafted item is still vastly cheaper on the valorstones than it is to upgrade an item normally.
