Hello all, just a quick question.
I have the war campaign finished on my horde main, and revered reps with all bfa factions.
I want to make an alliance character, when I get to 120, will I be able to do the new content (Mechagon/Nazjatar) without having to do the alliance version of the war campaign/reps?

I can’t see the new area being gated behind reps - you won’t be able to do the alliance war campaign though.
I personally when leveling that new 120 up would make sure to get friendly with the factions, since you might still need that to open up the world quests alliance side.
Any further knowledge of this question?
You do not have to do the prior War Campaign to jump into Nazjatar/Mechagon. My Main never did any War Campaign after 8.0 and the alts I’m playing now haven’t even finished the “choose your foothold” intro sections to it and all 3 were able to skip it all and start Nazjatar.

I have a fresh 120. He dinged 120 the day before 8.2 went live.
All I’d done of the War Campaign to that point was the 3 Foothold quest chains you get while levelling. You know, the first you get when you turn in 100 resources, the second at 114 and the 3rd at 118.
I had the appropriate amounts of rep to unlock WQ.
Logged in when 8.2 went live, and wham, had the quest to start Nazjatar, which of course leads to Mechagon as well.
So we don’t need to be friendly with any faction?
I just dinged 120. How do I get to nazjatar?
If you can get there, you should have a quest pop up. If there is no pop up of quest, you need to do something else first.
