So, I have a level 38 priest and I cannot queue for the timewalking dungeon event this week. I was able to queue for the event during the wrath timewalking a couple weeks ago. Is there a requirement Im not aware of. In game, its says the dungeons are for levels 36-60 so I meet that requirement. What am I missing? So many people are trying to tell me I have to be level 50 to queue, but I know thats incorrect because I have a level 46 death knight that CAN queue.

if you donât meet the ilvl requirement then the option to queue for timewalking dungeons wonât appear at all for you (or at least thatâs how it was for me)
I donât know what the ilvl requirement is but I know your gear gets scaled down to ilvl 40, so if your priest is below that then try getting up to that. You should start getting ilvl 40 gear from quests, dungeons, etc. starting at level 35 (unless youâve outleveled them).

Itâs about level and ilevel. Unfortunately, there is no currently updated info on what those thresholds are for each one.
My guess is that you need to have an average item level that is, at minimum, equal to the item level gear scales down to. (You just need to have the gear that gets you up to that ilvl for the requirement; you can use lower ilvl gear inside the instance if you want.)
I tried doing MoP timewalking on a druid whose item level was just slightly below 40, and I tried buying some gear to get it up to 40 but I didnât have much gold on that realm and the items I bought from the Cataclysm gear vendor in Orgrimmar only got me up to like 39.88 avg ilvl so I couldnât do it.
TBC and WotLK both scale down to 35, Cata and MoP scale down to 40, and I believe WoD is 45. (Legion logically should also scale down to 45 but it actually scales down to 50.) I think if you can get your avg ilvl up to 45 then you should be able to queue for WoD timewalking this week.
IDK why weâre not just told the actual requirements.

Level 41 toon with 44 item level
Could be 43 ilvl, I know itâs not 42 ilvl.
in the requirements it says that you have to be lvl 35 and up, I have a level 35 mage but I canât do timewalking
Seems they baselined the level for ALL timewalking.
Cata TW-
Level 60 toon with 174 item level
Tried with level 60 at 172ilvl, no option to queue until 174ilvl.
(CBA to try a level 59 with 174ilvl)
Itâs level 60.
They changed the requirement a while ago. Timewalking used to require 1 level above the level cap of timewalking, but for some stupid reason they changed it to the level cap in Shadowlands.
But then they never re-upped it to the new level cap in Dragonflight, so itâs still 60, even though the new level cap is 70.
But they also never updated the calendar, so it says level 36 and up, 46 and up, etc. depending on timewalking week.
I posted Aug 2022, few months before DragonFlight.
Previously : TW cap level +1 & item level requirement.
This new level 60 cap came from DF no?
Which is sad; was fun to level toons in timewalking.
Apparently it was indeed 50 in Shadowlands.
Could have swore it was 60. shrug
The lowest level was 36 with 39ilvl for Pandaria (and previous xpac i believe)
41 on Draenor.
The 50 cap was for Legion timewalking & its events.
Now itâs level 60 with 174 ilvl across the board?

I mean, I know what I tested 8-9 months ago and played lower level toons in timewalking.
