I find it impossible to believe, only those with an online voice would have been given the option for having a char revived due to a ddos… or whatever it was that caused so many people to fall that week. I submitted a ticket [ US104125891] explaining the symptoms and my story. Although the folks that responded were apologetic and appear to care, this still brings little comfort. I believe i have days left on a year subscription, and i would like to think i had it me to keep this grind alive, but honestly this event has truly reset my loyalty to a game ive loved for so many years. I only logged in today, to see if some how this franchise chose to do the right thing. I see this is not the case. Think ill grind a little tonight before bidding farewell. I’ve played many games over the years and reached a point where the grind was no longer worth the time… but never have i stopped playing a game because of the games failure to support the folks who keep the lights on, regardless the size of their microphone. cheers
Given the confirmed nature of the issue (launcher had a clear DDOS warning posted shortly after our entire group wiped in Mara against green con rock mobs :p), you would think they would at least do us the decency of stating a clear yes/no regarding the revives. Obviously they’re note obligated to do revive us, but radio silence after having JUST done resurrections roughly a month ago for a similiarly severe attack leaves a sour taste in my mouth.
I don’t even know if I’d come back right away if they revived us at this point (I’m having a blast on HC Last Epoch right now), but it would go a long way to convincing me to return during the next season/iteration of HC WoW.
well said, cheers.
right this leaves a very unpleasant taste in your mouth.
