Now that we’re in phase two and the world first achievement hunt is over, I would like to request an XP buff to make leveling alts easier… also as a catch up mechanism for players who want to give Anniversary a try.
Also, since some changes have already been introduced, an XP buff shouldn’t be a problem. Please consider it, Blizzard.
that’s what I was thinking… Anniversery isn’t gonna be in the classic phase for long, might as well make sure people are actually able to get to the end game and enjoy it while it lasts…
Also, casual players might want to get to sixty before the AQ gate event, so they can get the mount.
Agreed, id personally prefer the timeframe is extended and maintain classic reward rates, but if were zooming through it the leveling should be truncated some to facilitate end game experiences before it dies in the few months before tbc drops. Same for tbc, if its going to run by at a rapid rate then xp and drop should be scaled some
xp buffs ruined classic before, mistakes should not be repeated. If someone has no interest in playing Classic, then an XP boost won´t change that view.
It only benefits those that want to raid on several chars and those are not the target group of Classic. Retail offers all raids but Naxx, go play there on your 10th alt if you like.
That so called ‘target group’ you’re talking about… only really wants to play on fresh servers, and the anniversary servers are two months old at this point… yeah… I think most people are sticking around either because they want to raid or because their building their character for tbc…
Mages are gonna make a killing in the boosting business once the pre patch comes out.
Just going to sneak this in here as well: If you do not have the time to play an MMORPG, don’t play one - go play Skyrim. This is the sloggiest version of World of Warcraft with The Burning Crusade not far behind.
