The Request Stop is Broken … i request stop while on a Flight and flew past 4 flight paths it’s suppose to drop you off at the nearest FP not continue to where you originally picked to fly to
Just for clarification, did you already know all of those flight points? Or any of them? Because “Request Stop Flight” will not drop you at an FP you don’t already know.
I got all FP’s
Then, it should have worked and if it didn’t it does sound like a bug.
Which hopefully the devs will address quickly.
Request Stop button has never worked right when it was released (before or after Battle for Azeroth i forget)
People generally don’t understand the limitations of Request Stop.
As Sniper pointed out it will not stop at a FP you haven’t already manually discovered.
Also, there are many flight paths that are “express” (such as Stormwind to Booty Bay) and do not actually route through any of the FPs along the way. If you get on one of these, you won’t be able to stop before the end. You can tell if it is this kind of path because it is shown as a single direct line on the flight master’s map rather than a multi-leg one.
So you can only Stop if (a) it is a multi-leg flight (b) you know the FP in the middle and (c) you Request Stop before it goes into the “connecting” animaton between the two legs above the FP along the way.
So yes it is quite limited but I have not seen it actually fail when used as intended.
