Request Stop flight gryphon

Request Landing, when you take a flight gryphon from Ironforge to Western Plaguelands, and you immediately click Request Stop to land at the immediate available flight master, that doesn’t work, still takes you all the way to WP, when ui could land in Menethil Harbor, or Soutshore

There are two things that are often not understood about the Request Stop feature.

It can only stop at flight paths you have previously discovered. You can’t use it to get to somewhere you haven’t been before.

Also, some flights are direct. When you select them on the flight master’s map, they are a straight line, not bouncing between stops along the way. These direct flights can’t be stopped because there are no stops along the way. Only ones that are shown as a path connecting other stops along the way can be stopped.

Certainly these two conditions make the Request Stop feature less useful than it could be, but they are for good reasons and intended.
