Request: Holy Paladin Mistweaver Monk Changes

I’d like to make a request that holy paladins and mistweaver monks be made spell casters instead of using the same types of attacks are their dps counterparts and the reasons why are traditions.

Paladins who were healers in many a story from many of the western cultures would be more focused on divinity and the deities spells in the sphere of light. I’d like to ask that we be given the option of using a bow. If not I’d like to ask that we be given the ability to make light spells we normally cast for healing do damage to the mobs similar to the methods used by the Sunsoul in DnD.

Based on spells from DnD Radiant Sun Bolt, Sunburst (Light of Dawn), Solar Sphere (much like the mage spell and evoker spells but it looks like a sun and travels slowly through the mobs doing damage and/or healing friendlies), Solar Flare (similar to a combo of the trinkets Brimming Ember Shard and Extract of Prodigious Sands), Sunbeam (calls down from the clouds a beam of light that shines on your enemy causing damage over time)

For the MW Monk, I’d like to propose jade spells. Jade magick has been part of the Eastern cultures particularly the legends of the Chinese for thousands of years. I propose forgoing the use of standard monk attacks and replacing these attacks with spells that are instant cast that harm just like Jade Lightning does.

I’d like to see Jade magick akin to the Emperor’s magick in ancient Chinese folklore. Jade spells would go well with the Jade coloration glyph for Jade lightning, and it would go well with the healing mist spells. I’d like to see more elements used like the 5 elements of Eastern folklore, water air fire wood and metal. Some examples might be Metal causes the enemies to be weighted down in place, Wood could be shooting thorns, water and fire could spin around the monk like a Yin Yang symbol which would periodically fire projectiles of ice and fire at the enemies nearby, and air could be a thick fog that causes damage as enemies pass through it.

Just some thoughts on how to improve the game overall for healers.
