Instead of a fresh server, asking Blizzard to reset the dead realms and move whatever characters are still there to active realms seems much more realistic to me.
Additionally, this should be accompanied by an announcement that Blizzard has done this, or that they plan to do this, so that people have fresh realms to play on.
I wouldn’t ask Blizzard to go above and beyond that, it seems like it would be asking for too much after SoD.
Maybe some players on the low pop realms like their server the way it is. Kinda rude to just pave over their playground.
Blizzard will restart the progression when they’re ready. In the meantime, you could organize a reroll project on a low pop server and have a fresh go at that Era content.
Hi Blizzard, please do not do this. We enjoy our way of life on a low pop server (Grobbulus) and despite having access to Free Character Moves which allow us to move to “active realms” for free, we do no wish to do this.
