Request: Cross-Faction Arena/RBG Groups

I’ve noticed it can be difficult at times to find a Horde RBG group. Even at peak evening times there might only be 1 or 2 active groups in the Group Finder. Looking at the ratings ladder, it’s like 90% Benediction Alliance players. If it plays out the same as WOTLK, finding a group, especially on Horde, is only going to get more and more difficult as Cata goes on.

Implementing cross-faction groups will increase participation. It will stop Horde players from eventually quitting the game due to a lack of other PvPers to group with. Please add cross-faction grouping (for rated PvP only).

Totally agree—this would be a great change.

Nobody is playing RBG’s on horde at the moment because all the best racials are on Alliance.
This change would also increase the player pool and bring more people back into PvP / Participation.
Good change.

Would it? I feel like it would benefit both factions, but I’m skeptical it would increase population.

Some marketing love or attention from Blizzard around arenas though…

Yes it would because more people would come back to WoW to play PvP if they could play cross-faction. It would be easier to find groups/teams and also play with friends from both factions.

Sounds like a nice idea.

In any case, it’s not as if I’m against the idea of cross-faction queuing. I’ve even asked for it myself!

I’m just skeptical that it would actually increase population… maybe participation or activity though.

But it’s pretty late for it now. People have already transferred, rerolled or rolled alts.
