Reputation: Vol'jin Spear reset at some point

I used to be exalted with this reputation (Vol’jin’s Spear). I still have the achievement, I still have the tabard, I still have the title. However when I went to buy the riding crop at Ashran (requires exalted) I discovered I was reset at some point and now just “friendly”.

I tried to contact customer service, and they say nobody has reported this issue so they won’t fix it (NOT TRUE, I can see other forum posts). Erf. They tell me to submit a bug report and close the ticket. Ok… so submitting a bug report (This?) or at least tried to. Not the easiest system to navigate. Now, I’m getting directed to put my problem on a forum (???) instead of being directed to an actual internal bug TICKET submission, which feels very unprofessional. I don’t even want to say which character its for ( My level 80 horde character though), because i don’t want to put my character info out there in public. Jeeze… what a terrible system.

Friend, be prepared for disappointment. I have been trying to convince someone, anyone at Blizzard that the database is corrupted for the better part of a year. Achievements and reputations come and go on all of my characters without rhyme or reason.

Well thats a bit disheartening to hear. Especially because rep grinds are one of the things I do regularly and have the 110 reps achieve (they need a higher one, I have more). To know they could easily vanish is worrisome.

To be honest though, I usually max them out and then forget them (or only check them if they have a repeatable max reward). This one is different though because there’s some PVP items you can buy in the Ashran BG that are mobility perks (riding crop = instant mount. Very nice). Always used to use it, guess not now. Whatever, just Blizzard things I suppose.

I love that my ticket was closed and I was told to submit a bug report, that will obviously get ignored as well. Lovely. Whatever happened to “Time is money, friend” because I lost a LOT of time out of losing that rep, and I keep losing time every-time I have to mount in Ashran. /sigh.
