It is relevant, if it’s in conflict with the spirit of Vanilla. If they patched it out during Vanilla, then yes it matters.

The spirit of Vanilla was a development team with [ ---------------- ] much to do and [] much time, while trying to keep the servers from dying a fire and wrap their heads around the monster they created. Rep While Dead was not an intentional design decision, it simply wasn’t important enough to address readily.

I don’t see why you couldn’t. I remember people complaining about issues with being grouped with people who would farm rep that would drop their other reps.
