Not sure if this has been brought before, but here goes. Is there anyway that if oyu attain exalted reputation with a faction on a character, either your other characters also get exalted, or, get at least a bonus to the amount of rep you get with them?
It’s a pain to farm some reps to exalted on a toon, let alone 4+.

the MoP factions had a special token that you could use at revered, it would increase the rep gain by 100% on all characters on your account
that was the only expansion with that though, sorry
the only thing I can think of is to make sure to grab all the extra rep missions on the mission board thingy I never use and do your emissaries.
But most of the rep rewards like mounts and pets are account bound. Can I ask why you want/need your alts to get exalted too?
You can, or at least used to be able to, buy tokens from the MoP faction vendors that gave you a significant rep boost for your alts. I think you could buy them once you hit honored. I think can also, or again used to be able to, buy rep tokens with Timewalking badges.
Many moons ago I suggested that scribes should be able to create “letters of introduction” from a character that is exalted with a faction that alts could use to immediately get honored reputation.
Mists-era reputations have an account-wide buff that you can purchase at Revered to double all rep gains. There’s no other account-wide rep boosters, though there are several BoA or tradeable reputation tokens. Otherwise, reputations you have at Exalted will count towards the “X Reps at Exalted” meta-achievements, but won’t allow alts to purchase items from relevent quartermasters.
I just came back to the game from a2 year break, and I’m trying to catch up on stuff. I have alts that I use to either farm stuff or for different professions. So, for example, my main is a rogue and my mage is a tailor alt; I’m trying to get exated with Tortolan to get the 32 slot bag pattern. I also like to collect transmog, but I need to get revered or exalted with certain factions for the different patterns; or even to farm the emmisary chests for mounts, toys, etc. This is the reason I would like something like what people mention for Pandaria for the rest of the expansions and even SL:
Then don’t farm it on all characters. But yes people have asked for account wide rep repeatedly but the only legitimate reason I could see for a need for account wide rep, i.e. people switching mains, has been fixed since they made the achievement for total reps count account wide.
They just had 4 more of more of increased rep gains. If they ever went with account wide rep, you can bet you would not have all those rewards available to you.
Tell me do you really think making these easy mode for you now is fair to the people who just spent months on multiple characters if they wanted this rep?
I support this idea.
I’d prefer reps just being account wide but this is a nice inbetween.
