Yes because there are cyber bullying and harassment laws now in that big bad outside world and blizzard has to pay attention to those.
I disagree with the OP.
It is like saying, “You can’t arrest the thieving shoplifter, because they didn’t commit murder.”
I agree that system abusers should be punished, just like those who violate the CoC should be punished.
I don’t agree that the CoC needs to be more specific, as that just encourages people to try to “rules lawyer” their way out of their justly deserved consequences.
I do agree that a box where you are required to specify why you are flagging would be an improvement.
Frankly, when I look at buried posts, usually it is quite obvious to me why they would have been flagged. Most of the time, of the ones I see, I wouldn’t considered flagging them as abuse of the system.
Too often the people crying about “flagging abuse” could not possibly be dense enough not to realize why they are getting deservedly flagged.
