Hi, I would like to ask what will happen to the offending players I report for swearing? I looked at the tos and it IS a bannable offense, but I would like clarity on the matter.

I was just curious on how blizzard responds to such reports is all. I know there is a profanity filter, i personally, am not offended from profanity, but i like to report those that use curse words because there might be a consequence for their account. It is against the tos after all.
Swearing? Really? Are we twelve? If you don’t like it, turn on the profanity filter. It’s there for a reason.
I think what will happen for reporting them for swearing is that you will make yourself look like an idiot. The profanity filter is ON BY DEFAULT. If you are offended by profanity then you should have to explain to Blizzard why you turned it off and then wasted everyones time by reporting things that would have been blocked in the first place. Grow up.

You should probably just go ahead and uninstall your game client.
If the only reason for reporting other players for swearing, is that “i like to report those that use curse words because there might be a consequence for their account” Then you are just a Troll looking to play at being virtual police and you serve no purpose other than to make the internet a less free place for others to enjoy.
If no one is verbally harassing you, then turn your profanity filter on and consider just not going on the internet.
For that matter, just wear ear plugs and blinders too, just in case you hear or see something that might trigger you.
Maybe this is just your way of being ironic, and pointing out ways in which the tos can be exploited…
But if it’s not, I want you to know that you’re a horrible person.

You like reporting people simply because its against TOS and they could be banned?
If thats not what you meant, please clarify. Because it sounds like you are wanting to pretend you are the profanity police.
