Why do I get vote kicked when I was collecting the most azerite in the instance? I found the azerite extractor and told my party it was the fastest way to win, I take over it and kill all the mobs around it and mine all the azerite near by while defending it. The score is like 2000 to 500 and climbing fast. And I get randomly kicked cause the other 2 are going around the island killing other mobs.
I don’t mind that they went and kill other stuff but I’ve won expeditions by someone grabbing the extractor and 1 or 2 of us go around killing other stuff and mining ores. So why do players who I am guessing do not understand expeditions, are allow to kick a player who is collecting the most azerite in that expedition? Now I have to wait 30 MINUTES to que again? Why is the punishment so high? When I was wrongly kicked too.
I know there are some (horrible) players who will kick the third person near the end in an attempt to get what ever loot drops they would have otherwise gotten. Perhaps that is why they kicked you
Look idk why they kicked you and it was wrong of them to do it if you truly did nothing wrong - but that extractor which summons the adds takes way more time than it’s worth. Azerite monsters on islands are horrible to fight
You are better off grabbing the extractor and moving on. The mobs that spawn after are a PITA…

Let me give you advice no matter how effective you are at collecting azerite in a pug Always stick with your team or at least one member of your team. I have never been kicked and have always had clean runs in heroic by doing this.

Wait how does that work? It’s personal loot, how would kicking someone mean you get their loot?
That’s not how it works lol
I’ve found that the moment you go off on your own, regardless of reason, people assume you are not working as a team. And they kick. I have kicked people for not communicating and running off on their own instead of helping me and a healer do what needs to be done. STick with the group and move as a group, unless it’s been made known before hand, and approved, that you’re off on your own.

Be prepared to go with the flow and stay with the group in a pug. That simple.
Also the extractor is the absolute slowest method of collecting azurite.

Join with friends or pug someone. They kicked you because the machine is actually bad and a waste of time.
It doesn’t work that way at all - some people have a “hive mind” set that has 0 logic, crazy people basically. There’s no truth to getting 3rd persons loot if kicked.
There is no such thing as “wrongly kicked”.
There is just, “I feel that I was kicked for reasons I disagree with”.
So what? Player disagreement will happen. You disagreed with what they did and they disagreed with what you did.
Kick requires a majority vote. That’s it. Reasons do not matter. Your performance does not matter. If the majority does not want you there, you get kicked. Period.
There is no right or wrong, just a disagreement.
Disable votekicking in Island Expeditions. I just got 2 of them in a row with 2 guildies, and it puts me on my toes every time. The first one was with 2 people who were like 5/9M, and that one went fine, but of course the one with 7/9N people, I was just standing next to one of them, opening a chest and I got dropped. Now I gotta stand here waiting for my queue lockout to finish, so I figured I’d head over to the forums, where I knew I would find at least one other person having the same problem. Just disable votekicking in Island Expeditions unless the person is offline. People are too toxic, and having to do 4 of these a week per character is bad enough without having to do an extra one cause 2 guildies with a different idea of how to play them duo queued and have outsized power.
i’d seen somebody saying they had done that personally so i assumed that it’s a thing that happens lol
also wasnt sure because i got more loot than usual when my friend DCed during an island a while back, was probably just the power of RNG though if the tactic doesnt actually work
