Player reporting abuse still happens today, especially when someone speaks their mind in Trade Chat when a sensitive subject is being spoken about. A mass of people report you for saying various political statements, or culture war statements and it’s getting out of hand. This feature must be removed, the players cannot be trusted with such power.

This is why you simply don’t engage with the community in general and trade chat in game. I have both chats in a separate window that I never even look at. Not worth the trolls trying to get you silenced, along with not worth the ignorance with how some people act.

You can’t say anything without someone getting butt hurt, it’s not just in game. I wouldn’t expect that to change.
Running your mouth off in Trade, General or LFG then complaining about the consequences is like throwing yourself in front of a bus then complaining they hit you.
Don’t give anyone anything to report and you won’t be reported.

I leave all public chat channels like General and Trade on all of my characters. I have no use for them.

This is why, you don’t ever get into politics or engage in Trade. Trade chat is a cesspool for mass reports.
Well if somethings being reported via trafe chat it’s more than likely it’s not suppos3d to there in the first place so…yeah
While we encourage you to report players that are behaving in a disrespectful manner, falsely reporting another player with the sole intent of restricting their gameplay is also unacceptable and will result in penalties to your account.
Yeah but if you do it on a college campus, it might pay off your schooling!
