People are already skirting around queues and not getting logged out with many different anti-afk detection methods. This makes the already massive queues take even longer and people who are not playing are taking up tons of spots in the game.
Either the AFK detection needs to get better and kick somewhere between 15-30 min, or people need to start getting short temp-bans for disrupting the queue.

The big problem is some of them hide in dungeons.
So, they do mergers and gg.

Are you actually this obtuse or trying to hide your use of work arounds to avoid the auto log out?
Auto running into a wall does not stop you from getting kicked for being idle. You have to input a command.

As someone who hasn’t been able to log in yet (ques) due to work/real life schedule, etc., I’ll be 100% honest with you… When I get up and logged in early on Saturday, Sunday and Monday of this week, I’ll be leaving a weight on my movement keys while I run my weekend errands… and I don’t even feel a tiny bit bad about that.

Why would you be running into a wall if you were actively around your pc? I seriously can’t tell if these are exploit apologists or idiots.

We’re all gonna. We shouldn’t have to and it shouldn’t come to it but all Blizz has to do is have intermittent server restarts with a decent grace period.
After my second time having spent over 7 hours (total 14 now) in queue, to play for only 2 hours before bed time for work again, I’m going to tell you right now to kiss our collective asses.

report anyone just sitting, standing and running across the zone because they are all afk.
Running in place or into a wall could be a sign of being disconnected. Thankfully I have only had that once today.
Nah, you can go afk for awhile and manually come back every once and awhile and legitimately avoid loggout.
This is not the issue. This is not going to solve the issue.
Yesterday I went to a thai place next door and ordered their spiciest soup, fast forward 8pm and im pissing acid from my b**hole for 40 minut straight.
Anyway the point of this story is I walked into a wall during that time to save my spot, I think it’s fair for people who got in to keep theirs, it shouldn’t be on the players to blame themselves but blizzard to change something quick.

what about those logged in and using a remote desktop to move their mouse and hit some buttons every 15-20 minutes? is that wrong? I mean it’s not a bot, I’d be playing my pc just remotely.
If you’re deuces take longer than 30mins you need to stop playing wow and see a doctor ASAP
100% agree just because im an adult and have things to do but i intend to play all day just cuz i got 10 mins of stuff i gotta do doesint mean im gonna waste the fact i woke up at 5am to get ahead of the que and lose MY SPOT! kiss our collective asses horde and alliance are one on this problem!
So, let’s say for sake of argument your mom said to stop doing it…
Then AFK and hurry up. Im going to start reporting people for afking into walls.
Ya, think harder. He was not talking about the short term thing people do.
But when you see a runner at the wall when you start a quest line and he is still there after the next two…
Ain’t nothing temporary about this.
