Report system

Why can’t you report people’s guilds anymore? I’ve seen so many guilds with racist guild ranks

Okay, leave the guild and then report them. I’m not sure why you are sticking around in those guilds if they are bothering you?

I’m not in the guild, i just see them around

So report them.

Use Guild Name and in the textbox tell them why.

You get one of these if they are punished.

That’s weird. Sometimes when you click the player the guild name doesn’t appear for a report option. Is it having to manually target the player or chat or both? I saw a guild the other day that 100% was report worthy but it just said character name in that menu.

I dunno, I targeted the player and went through the dropdowns.

Got you. That’s what I did and it just said character name although I think the other player was alliance and not horde. Did you do that on a horde character to another horde character?

horde on horde…

sounds almost “naughty” :stuck_out_tongue: “chicka chicka bow wow”

Lol xD got ya. I think the person i was targeting was ally.

I think you can still report names in a round about matter; yet there’s still a lot you can’t report anymore. :upside_down_face:

I wanted to report someone for grieving in a battleground (Lusting at start, grabbing flag and taking directly to opposite faction) - And the selection wasn’t available .. :no_mouth: I think we can all agree, that –

This new report system - sucks!

I heard apparently it’s largely automated, which is kind of sad & cheap on Blizzard’s part. I know they want to ‘save money!’ and all, but they already made a large amount of staff cuts -= It’d be nice of them to have a more humane touch again for a change.

Just curious, if you arent in the guild, how do you know what their guild ranks are?

Alts or they joined went “nope” and left

The people who are saying it’s automated really don’t know what they’re talking about. The only part of the system that’s automated is the squelch system, and all squelches are reviewed by a GM to determine if it is upheld or not.

All reports, every single one, is reviewed by a GM, a human being. There is no automation.

Yeah, I thought that’d be the case.
Regardless of that however, there’s still lacking in selectable criteria a lot of the times which is rather odd - especially for a handful that are an obvious violation of the ToS.

Then don’t spread stupid nonsense.

I haven’t really run into any instances yet, but it does seem like there’s still some changes that could be made to add more reporting options.

Hence the mentioned word “Heard”.
I never said it was confirmed. And that’s what the forums are for – discussing.

‘If you don’t ask, or explore - You don’t discover.’ :man_shrugging:

There are report options for harming the group in PvP.

This article has them and pictures.

You would want to use one of the following

Gameplay Sabotage

  • AFK/Non-Participation
  • Intentionally Feeding
  • Blocking Team Progress

Can you see the rank names if you aren’t in the guild?

When I tried report them, there wasn’t those options available.
But next time I’ll just select one at random from what’s given & just type out the description of the issue.
