This was never fixed for me, still getting the error with every report and it doesn’t put the player on ignore. Doesn’t matter whether it’s via group finder report or right clicking player name in chat.
Also not sure why group finder reporting was changed to be more than 1 click? Previously could right click ‘report as advertising’ now it opens the new window to select the reason. Just an unnecessary additional barrier to reporting. Can we please get the old option back on right click menu?
Usually this means that something in your UI, either a corrupt UI or addon, is the culprit. I’d recommend a Full UI Reset.
That’s not something that CS can help with unfortunately. You’ll want to post in the General forums or use the in-game suggestion feature.
Followed the steps to reset UI and tried reporting, still unavailable. Using a clean slate, 0 addons.

Frostmourne tradechat has been taken over by boosters, racism and spam. Reports have been unavailable for days now for me and for others I’ve asked. Idk what’s going on.
If having trouble reporting, or right-clicking on the chat won’t let you report, and you’ve tried a full UI reset, then submit a bug.
Still broken April 1.
Are you saying that that fixed the problem for you personally or are you just copy pasting? AFAIK the reporting system is secure LUA space so addons should not affect it.
No, I am telling you that there isn’t any other way to report someone if you’re unable to right-click and report. And resetting the User Interface doesn’t always means addons.
I’ll put it this way, Customer Support forums is a player to player help forum. You can not report any Code of Conduct violations here, and the SFA’s (Support Forum Agents) are not responsible for any development towards the game, including bug reports. If you can not right click to report a Code of Conduct violation, reset the User Interface incase of corrupted data/UI. If that does not work, then you’ll need to report it as a bug via the Bug Report Forums or In-Game.
Nothing will come out of the Customer Support forums apart from this advice, especially from the SFA’s.

Still a problem, been almost a month since this was functional. Spammers and sellers are definitely aware and abusing this by posting in trade/LFG more frequently. Unable to do anything about it except ignore, and 100 spaces on the ignore list is nowhere near enough.
Lack of QA across TWW has been pretty appalling so far really.

Not working for me too. Seems to be OCE(Frostmourne) realms unable to report and you get "Report system unavailable. Swapping to US realm and the report system is fine with “Complaint Registered”

I haven’t logged in today but I imagine the post-election political trade chat is going bonkers right now since most people can’t report anyone
