Report studio cheating

In winterspring Valley, every Black Lotus location has a studio account waiting there. They deliberately caused the character to die there and then controlled the soul to wait there. When the lotus appears, immediately choose to resurrect. Collect the lotus area. Eastern United States, server herod. Address Winter Spring Valley

Since they appeared, I can’t collect the black lotus anymore
This is an angry game

You are upset that you are out competed? No rules are broken maybe try a different farm?

This is not fair competition, because these characters are likely to use cheating procedures.
They hardly go offline and wait there for 24 hours.

The only way for you to know that would be you hardy going offline and waiting there for 24hrs.

Yes, so they deliberately let the character die to avoid being kicked off the system

having been auto logged as a ghost i call BS on that…you will be kicked ffrom server even while being dead

Naming and blaming is against forum rules.

@ OP.

I strongly advise you to edit your original post and remove the character names.

That will get you banned from the forums. You can’t “name names.”

Submit that all in a GM ticket instead.

We both know that nothing will be done.

Your best bet is to make an alt of the other faction to the bots, make a guild named “Botslayers” or something like that, and relentlessly kill them.

Blizzard won’t fix it.

im not advocating for the op, but they said these characters wait while dead, so killing them doesnt have an effect on them

I’m sorry about that, buddy. Take a deep breath, relax your jaw muscles, maybe get up and walk around a couple minutes every hour.

Nice try dude but being a ghost doesn’t keep you from being kicked off for inactivity. Got another tale to try?

what’s a studio account?

Defending botting?

bot farmers doing this are not cool man, its on a timer they dont need to be good, just have their bot res and collect the flower on the timer. Skill involved there = zero.

Had a lvl 1 warlock back in WOTLK that botted herbs and dominated the glyph market for over a year, I reported him daily but I think he kept his main account on a different PC or something so he was never banned. Dude listed glyphs right at crafting cost, and would undercut until you bought him out but you couldnt re-sell them because he would just post new ones shortly after and you would end up with wasted gold and a bunch of stuff you couldnt sell. After a few months I gave up inscription and dropped it completely, but I still had him added to freinds and sent in reports daily, he was a level 1 human warlock named Eyees. I’m still salty at this guy today and it’s been YEARS.

I stalked him trying to figure out more about him and noticed he logged on like very 2 hours to relist stuff. Dude did this for over a year straight and blizz never banned him, so yeah, do with this information what you wish. I don’t think these bots in classic will be delt with and even if they are, they’ll come right back after a few days or something once they get new scripts. Happened a lot in cata as well with the miner bots.

Thats when they added that cursed AH program that may as well be considered a bot, that auto sorts and searches and relists and auto undercuts.

The handy part about that bot was the people who used it, you could easily manipulate them by forcing their prices down, buying out all their inventory hording it, and breaking them financially in game. That sort of strategy probly gets you banned now days because blizzard does not like it when people break botters.

That’s TSM, and it was pretty complicated to setup and use, but that wasn’t the problem really, it was having an endless supply of inks to keep that strategy up indefinitally. This guy botted herbs so no price was too low, he still made gold, never lost it. His entire goal was to crash and keep the market low, and people loved him for it, everyone else just quit after a few months and rolled other professions. Still salty blizz let him do it for so long, idk how he managed.

if they would just come down hard on bots that would never have been a problem.

You have to know the last picked to have an accurate timer, you have no proof they are botting with the evidence gathered and presented, I don’t see why everyone thinks that an item worth hundreds of gold should be easy to get and have no competition. Think outside the box and outcompete him instead
