I report boosters every day and even though nothing will happen of it, every now and then I get a message from blizzard saying they actioned the report. Does blizzard actually look at reports?

As far as I know, they do actually get some attention. I’d guess that for every legitimate report though, there are hundreds (or more) false reports, which probably eats up a lot of time.

There are GMs now. Game masters are in the game. They look at reports.
At least take the time to read the ToS
Boosting is allowed 100%, if you’re mad because you made the same mistake like in 2019 and didn’t roll a mage that’s on you for not learning your lesson and the only one to blame is you for skill issue. So now either reroll to a class that can boost or seethe.

you must be unfamiliar with the report function, under inappropriate communication there’s an option for boosting. If you boost there is a high chance you are also buying gold which is also against ToS. So its on you to not be a cheating PoS

Why would someone who boosts buy gold when they are making tons of gold boosting? The only report function for boosters is spamming their ad in LFG, which is probably why some of them had action taken against them, most likely muting them for a week or something. You don’t get to play with my alts, they will be boosted and theres actually nothing you can do about it.

The GMs dont just support WoW, they support all blizzard games and the report function seems to be a one size fits all across all games.
That said, while boosting by itself is allowed, the boosters are likely violating ToS anyway by selling gold.

its definitely bannable because blizzard tells me they’ve actioned the recent reports and even thanked me. so that would indicate to me that its bannable
I think they started recently because now and then I will report actual cheaters and the occasional bit… usually get a report back within a day or so… sometimes it’s even faster.

Its bannable to advertise boosts in trade chat or LFG, but keep bragging about getting legitimate players banned through abusing the report system
boosting is against the rules so stop buying gold and level up like everyone else
