the backdoor hills near stormpike aid station. thx. becoming more and more frequent. i actually defend the exploit backdoor hills now
I reported it early and often during the beta, and it was positively RAMPANT at that time, so Blizzard should know about it.
At some point blizz would have to get off their backsides and actually fix the issue.
Sadly, they seem to be using the #nochange meme as an excuse to be lazy on issues like this. It is what it is, and frankly more horde should be doing this, because clearly blizzard endorses it with their inability to do anything about it. Small indie developers and such.
It’s not an exploit, get over it. There’s supposed to be optional ways around instead of a massive chokepoint of a bridge to have to cross that only horde have to deal with when there is no such that alliance have to deal with, having an optional secondary path balances it and it still favors alliance because they have no choke point to begin with.
NO! No there is not. You are supposed to cross the bridge fight off our archers just like we do!
Actually, Blizzard did patch invisible walls into AV for the Horde fortress, because there was another way around the main choke point of Frostwolf Keep. If you try to walk along the snow ledge at the waterfall to behind the tower, you’ll notice there are two invisible walls. Those weren’t always there. Those were added to make the barriers somewhat more like the Dun Baldar bridge.
The funny thing is that removing those invisible walls would make these two bases more alike at this point in time. Either the invisible walls from Frostwolf Keep should be removed or the terrain near Dun Baldar should get a 1-way invisible barrier, to allow people to slide down but not allow people to climb up.
Or… no changes.
Hordlets need the exploit to beat alliance chad premades so let them do it I say. They’ll still lose. lol
Wasn’t the Horde building supposed to dismount players entering Frostwolf Keep? I remember it doing that before walking to where the invisible walls now are. Guess they gotta nochange it up.
I want to think that it did dismount players in the original AV version. Horde archers in the original release were also bugged, in that, they just stood there and swiveled around without firing arrows.
Ice blood chokepoint is worse than the Bridge tbh.
you guys have multiple ways to jump over our fences and get into our base not to mention snowball pulling drek solo, stop crying.
Not crying and we cannot get up the back like Horde can.
Honestly… the horde have the advantage. Between the Hill exploit and the GY flag being RIGHT at the door… So easy for them to take over and defend the flag without having to use the bridge.
you guys also can run through all of our base without pulling a single NPC very easily other than getting shot with archers. You have it easy.
And when we teleport back to help where are the Horde? Right there !
Thats not the point bro, Horde literally exploit the hill!
same when I teleport back to defend because alliance are solo pulling drek without warmasters. (Alliance are right there killing Drek in the hall and range are right on top of me) insta death.
No idea, I lost 14 avs last night and won 2.
