So, now that the hype of TWW is slowing down and people are starting the usual complaints, anyone down to restart on a classic server? I’d love to hop on over to classic, but my biggest fear is when hitting lvl 25 it becomes no person in sight till 60, where I can’t run a dungeon, can’t complete some of those group quests, and stuck with a completely overran bot economy.
If anyone is interested, which dead realm would be a good one to hop on and repopulate?

I’m not interested myself, I’m pretty happy playing where I am, but if you’re looking for a dead realm I think a good way to go about it is to check the ironforge.pro populations.

Scroll on down to the bottom… These are realms with zero raiding population and so they would be an easy place to try to get a fresh experience going. You could choose anyone of them and you would probably be fine.
With that said, please do keep in mind that fresh on Deviate Delight just happened. You might be hard pressed to find enough people to play with you. I figure your options here might be…
- Just join in on Deviate Delight. I think it’s only 4-5 months in, which isn’t toooo far along. I’d be willing to bet Naxx is cleared already, but it’s not like everybody is running around in full BiS.
- Wait another 5-6 months. A lot of folks are saying they’d like an annual fresh experience, this might be a good way to test the waters here. In the meantime you can roll on any existing populated server, or come join us on Grobbulus for a super small server feel

So a bit confused, are you looking for people you can level with on a small population server, or you simply want people around but afraid that ERA is an empty world?
If you looking for active servers in ERA, look no further then Whitemane (PvP) and Mankirk (PvE) obviously the HC (PvE) server is always hopping even with its relatively low Population, but it naturally stays fresh as people die, however the horde population is a bit sparse. However on all three of these, there are people everywhere, at least at low levels, mid levels are always a bit more sparse, but thats the case everywhere, since populations, excepting HC, tend to be highest in both low and max level.
For the smaller servers DD and Grob, they are also doable, especially if you have a few friends, you will just have to get used to leveling for the most part alone, but for elite quests and dungeons, even if you don’t have some friends, usually people in the guilds will jump in and carry you thru them, or sometimes have their own alts.
Fresh Era starts next Thursday at 4pm. See you there.
Depends a lot on when you play, but I watch for a wave of new players to turn up in starting zones and then jump in. Usually you get 50% of these players past level 20 who’re not boosting and you can play with them all the way to level cap. This has been my experience on Era since it opened, now several characters deep, just got my Mage to 60 and he’s already R9 for PVP gear, should be R10 on Tues then I will raid BWL for T2 and go from there.
However FRESH starts soon (new servers) so there is that, but if you want a permanent Vanilla experience then ERA servers are the place to be.
