Receiving Anima from a quest, etc. does not register the Replenish The Reservoir quest if my bags are full! This has been complained about several times on here and I’ve also submitted a bug report in game. What does it take to get this fixed? Is there a number to call to report it to get something done?
Receiving anima does count, unless your bags are full and the anima gets mailed to you. You simply need to empty your bags regularly to not have it sent via the mail so that it counts. This was implemented due to players trying to horde anima in the mail for the next week. The actions of some mess up things for a great many others unfortunately.
If that’s the case, the system could be better. It could simply go straight to the ‘reservoir’ instead of to the mail and COUNT towards the quest like it’s supposed to!

It’s working exactly as the designers intended.
That looks like they intended for the depositing part not to give credit, which I get that. The little side note seems more like a bug or flaw that they know about.
All that said, maybe it SHOULD actually increase the quest when the reservoir is replenished by depositing it. After all it’s not a ‘Replenish your bags’ or ‘Collecting Anima’ weekly now is it.
“Should” is a suggestion to the developer, not a bug report. Suggestions to change how the quest is intended to work are not forwarded to the developers from the Bug Report forum.
Post in a non-Support forum like Quests or use the in-game suggestion feature.
Just…how many vendors do you pass with all that trash in your bags?
