It’s dumb and should’ve never been added, just like Void Form. Turning the spec into yet ANOTHER resource chaser was just… Why? Shadow Priests used to be one hell of an awesome hybrid. Bringing in good healing, mana restoration and decent damage.
Hope they get the same treatment as Shamans because I want my SHADOW PRIEST back.
I have no idea what they were even thinking. Everyone loved void orbs and devouring plague. It was the absolute golden years of shadow priests. I don’t know why they’re holding onto stm so badly.
I’ll say it once and i’ll say it again:
I will never support a skill or spell where I (or anyone) have the potential to die just to do competitive dps. Why should we have to be put in some weird position when nobody else does?
I agree. Coupled with MoP’s Mastery, Spriests were awesome. They just needed a bit more love in MoP that they never got in the form of damage buffs, but they were still pretty good.
As someone who gravitates towards resource classes (rogues, death knights, and warlocks), why is it so bad for priests? I read the same complaints from paladins and shaman.
Insane ramp up times. That’s all. Not only that, but so many specs have been turned into resource changers for reasons unbeknownst to me. They were fine in WotLK, got better in Cata and were pristine in MoP. Should’ve never been changed.
Insanity and voidform would work a lot better if we never had to move. The minute you have a fight where you have to move around a lot, which is most of them, your dps suffers terribly.
My favorite time playing. I had Demo Lock, S Priest and SV Hunter. While Pandaria seemed funky to me, those 3 specs playstyle was the pinnacle of class design. Ughhh
