So a whole race of master splinters? That’s pretty cool, but if a rat race were to be added I’d want something like the Burmecians in Final Fantasy.

As much as I love the Skaven for their treacherous ways, inventive weapons and the malicious council of thirteen they would not mesh very well with the Horde…at least not without them holding every advantage possible over every other Horde race and thereby reducing them to little more than slaves who recognize the Horned Rat as their superior.
Besides theres nothing wrong with the Vulpera. I like to think of them as a primitive subspecies of Lombax, they just haven’t got that inventive tick about them (though I can’t be sure if this is normal for all Lombaxes as you only ever see barely a handful of them across the Ratchet & Clank series)
Still I cannot think of a better fantasy race than Skaven to send into a Hobbit hole to turn it into a charnel house.

Games Workshop would have a bit of an issue with the theft of their most perfect creation.
That being said, if a suitable rat race were created I would be compelled to make one and join any appropriate guild for the glory of The Great Horned Rat!
